Hawaii AgDiscovery Program

The AgDiscovery Program, coordinated in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), is a unique summer outreach initiative that helps high school students explore careers in plant and animal science, biotechnology, and agricultural business. Through hands-on activities, field trips, and mentorship from professionals, students gain real-world experience and a deeper understanding of how agriculture, science, and the environment intersect in solving global challenges. It’s a unique chance to live and study on a college campus and get a first-hand look at the many career paths open in the agricultural sciences.

Current 9-11th-grade student
