The Gene-ius Day Summer STEM Program at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa is an innovative enrichment program for talented middle school students. Our goal is to increase the interest of Hawaii’s keiki in science-related fields by making science and learning fun!
Each summer, students from Oahu’s public schools attend a weeklong STEM education program to engage in hands-on science activities, from investigating a murder mystery to infecting bacteria cells in the lab. For the 2025 summer, we will be working with students from Dole Middle, Kalakaua Middle, Jarrett Middle, Ke’elikolani Middle, King Intermediate, Nanakuli Intermediate, Waianae Intermediate, Wahiawa Intermediate, and Waipahu Intermediate School.
Thank you to the program’s sponsor, GEAR UP HAWAI’I!
