Professor Wieczorekʻs work in the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa has two areas of focus; administering science education to the public and working in her Molecular Ecology Lab. Kristin Matsumoto

Kristin Matsumoto is one of the Program Coordinators for the Gene-ius Day Program. Kristin has graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and is focused on STEM education for K-12 Students. She works diligently on creating curriculum for our Gene-ius Day Program, applying for new funding opportunities, and maintain the high caliber of education we offer.

Chrislyn DeMattos

Chrislyn DeMattos is one of the Program Coordinators for the Gene-ius Day Program. She has also earned her Master's in Environmental Management from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. Chrislyn oversees the day to day management of the Gene-ius Day program, development of online materials, and other programming

Danica Ilaga

Danica Ilaga is one of Undergraduate Student Assistants. She is a current UH Mānoa student majoring in Nursing. Danica has been with the Gene-ius Day program since elementary school and has participated in our Saturday Program both as a student and as a high-school intern! She has helped with our Saturday Program and Summer Programming (Hawaii AgDiscovery and Summer Gene-ius Day).

Leiandra Fagaragan

Leiandra Fagaragan is one of our Undergraduate Student Assistants. She is a current UH Mānoa student majoring in Biology with a minor in Public Health; she is also on the Pre-Med track. This is Leiandra's second year as a student assistant, and has helped with our Saturday Program and Summer Programming (Hawaii AgDiscovery and Summer Gene-ius Day).
