Agricultural & Environmental Awareness Day (AEA Day) is an annual event where 5th graders from across Oʻahu come to the Urban Garden Center to learn more about agriculture in Hawaiʻi and have the opportunity to meet with Government Organizations, Non-Profits, University Groups, and more!
The Hawaiʻi AgDiscovery Program (HADP) is a two-week summer immersive program that bring high school students from across the country to learn more about Hawaiʻi Agriculture. Participants engage with local farms, businesses, and non-profits to learn more about potential professions within the ag sector and how Hawaiʻi agriculture is unique.
The Gene-ius Day Program partners with Gear Up Hawaiʻi and Gear Up Oʻahu to host middle school students for 1 week intensive summer programming. Students are able to learn more about either forensics or weather! Many participants continue to comeback to Gene-ius Day for future.
